Lil Al B Sure! (Albert J. Brown IV), was born on October 30, 1986 in Mount Vernon, NY, just thirty minutes outside of NYC. Born during the height of his father’s career, Lil Al B enjoyed singing, just like his father. His voice so much reminded people of Al B Sure!, garnering attention from the ladies in the same way, that he was dubbed Lil B. Sure! in high school.

Lil B. Sure! sang informally in school hallways and during basketball practice, but it wasn’t until he entered a high school talent show that his vocals were truly recognized. He’s now ready to show those vocals to the world in Rock the Cradle.

Landon, born in 1986, is the oldest son of Bobby Brown. Landon has been singing since he was a child, and was born into the fame of his father’s band, New Edition. Landon is a singer, songwriter and rapper whose lyrics are inspired from his real life experiences. He cites Prince, Maxwell, D’Angelo and Craig David as musical influences.

Landon and Bobby are said to have a close, but competitive relationship. “I love my father,” Landon says, “but he isn’t the reason for my music. Just because you’re someone’s son doesn’t mean you have the talent they have. But it also doesn’t mean you can’t be better than them either.”

Not only do they compete with music, but now Landon has the chance to catch up to his father’s fame from realty tv. Bobby Brown had his own reality show, Being Bobby Brown , which launched in 2005 and aired for 13 episodes. While the show chronicled Bobby’s personal life, Landon refused to appear on his father’s show. However, now that the opportunity has arisen for his own show, Landon feels the exposure will be good for his career.

“I love to compete,” Landon explains. “I’ve learned from [my father’s] mistakes. I do me, but I tone myself down a little more, except on stage. I’ll try not to take my shirt off up there. They told me not to.”

Jesse Snider is also a voice actor that can be heard on several TV and radio commercials, such as GameStop, Burger King, and others. Have you heard him as the voice of the chicken saying, “Maybe I will” in that one commercial?  Brilliant. It goes on…  Jesse has been a DJ on New York radio stations WBON and WLIR, and a VJ for Fuse, MTV2, and AOL’s Top 11 Countdown.. He was the music consultant on the Strangeland sountrack, and even appears in PlayStation 2’s SingStar ’80s.

And the guy’s athletic.  A national champion semi-pro football player for the Brooklyn Mariners, a gymnastics coach (in the past, anyway), and other cool stuff that allows him to get major air time when performing.

Dee Snider of Twisted Sister (Jesse Blaze Snider’s Dad)

Dee Snider, Jesse’s father, fronted Twisted Sister.  He joined Twisted Sister in 1976 and became the only song writer of the band thereafter.  Metal Mania was hosted by Dee Snider and featured metal news, interviews with metal artists, in studio co-hosts, etc.  Twisted Sister broke up in the late 1980s.  Dee got involved in other bands, radio, even politics related to the music industry and cencorship.  There’s more, but hey, you get the idea, and Jesse’s the star here, so we’ll leave it at that.

Bio:  A’keiba Burrell-Hammer, MC Hammer’s Daughter

A’Keiba Burrell-Hammer is daughter of rapper, MC Hammer (born Stanley Kirk Burrell), popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s.  Hammer led the first rap recording to reach the #1 spot on the pop charts with his album, Please Hammer Don’t Hurt ‘Em, selling over 10 million records in the US alone.  His single, “U Can’t Touch This,” ranked #88 on VH1’s 100 Greatest Dance songs, and Hammer made parachute pants his trademark with the marketing of “Hammer Pants.”  But after spending over a reported $33 million dollars, the rap artist declared bankruptcy in 1996.  Soon after, Hammer reaffirmed his Christian faith and became a preacher.  He now produces a Christian tv show on Trinity Broadcasting Network and released an album, Look Look Look, in 2006.

A’Keiba, born on September 29, 1987, is one of six children born to MC Hammer and Stephanie Fuller.  A’Keiba has been passionate about music from a young age, dancing and singing with her father onstage from childhood.  In fact, the day she was born was the first time her father heard of one of his songs on the radio.

Currently, A’Keiba attends the University of Texas at Austin, studying film and music production.  Learning from her father’s involvement in the production of music, she was inspired to not only focus on developing her vocals, but also to learn the business and technical sides of music. A’Keiba classifies her singing as “R&B with a neo-soul vibe”, and for fun, she enjoys going out to dinner and bowling. Not unfamiliar to reality shows himself, Hammer, who appeared on the first season of The Surreal Life in 2003, brought the idea of joining the cast of Rock the Cradle to his daughter’s attention. She said she “loved performing” and that it “sounded like a lot of fun.”

MC Hammer agreed, saying, “My advice is to have fun!” and added he is a “proud papa.”
