Biography: Crosby Loggins, Kenny Loggin’s son
Crosby Loggins is son of Kenny Loggins (born Kenneth Clark Loggins), singer and songwriter of soft rock and adult contemporary music, starting in the 1970s. He performed in the duo group Loggins and Messina, after which he went on to pursue a solo career. Kenny Loggins has written music for the Doobie Brothers and numerous hits for movie soundtracks, including “I’m Alright” from Caddyshack and “Footloose” from the movie of the same name. In 1997, Loggins scored a #1 single on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart with “For the First Time.”

Crosby Loggins, born on December 15, 1980 in Los Angeles, is the oldest child of Kenny Loggins and Eva Ein (divorced in 1990).
Crosby grew up in Santa Barbara, CA and was surrounded by talented and famous musicians, including Graham Nash, Jackson Browne, Glen Phillips of Toad the Wet Sprocket and Michael McDonald.
He knew his own father was successful, but “Dad was just dad,” Crosby says.
“It was the other musicians who were a huge deal to me.”Crosby has been making music since childhood, playing the piano at age seven, and writing his own music a year later.
As a teenager, Crosby gave up the piano and took to the guitar, proving himself to be a natural, and soon began his path as a singer songwriter.
Recently, he has formed an impressive group of musicians he met in California and, in 2007, Crosby Loggins and The Light released their first album,
We All Go Home.
Since the album’s release, Crosby has performed in over 100 shows, touring through the US and Europe.
Loggins considers his signature artistic style to reflect “authenticity, combined with his innate sense of when to let the music be graceful and spare and when to propel it powerfully forward.”

i think that jesse blaze snider should win. he is the best singer on there… and olivia newton john’s daughter i think butchered “i hate everything about you” by three days grace.. she didn’t have the right pitch and she mixed up the words and she tried to look sexy and the song is about hating someone and trying to get them to stay away from you.

Crosby Loggins is head and shoulders above the rest of these no talent people who will be playing at local church festivals if they are lucky in the future. The Loggins Family fortune of good looks, brains, charisma and downwright awesome song writing skills is intact. Believe me when I tell you Croz is his OWN MAN! He pulled away from his dad to do this on his own and initially.Go Croz, KoaAnne
