Biography: Jesse Money, Daughter of Eddie Money

Jesse Money is the daughter of rock singer-songwriter, Eddie Money, popular in the 1970s and 1980s. Eddie Money (born Edward Joseph Mahoney) had numerous Top 40 hits and platinum albums. Yet after several unsuccessful releases in the mid-1980s and a struggle with drug addiction, Money’s career began to fail. Jesse Money, nineteen years old, is one of five children born to Eddie Money. As a toddler, Jesse would bring water bottles to her father onstage, and soon realized her calling was more than water-girl. She has been singing for years and loves soulful, bluesy rock. Her father has helped to not only develop her voice, but also teach her the business side of music. While a great supporter of his daughter, Eddie remains her toughest critic.

Jesse has often performed “Take Me Home Tonight” with her father during his live shows and she has visited every state with him on tour. She has also performed with Loverboy’s Mike Reno and others.
