When Lucy was eighteen, she moved to Hollywood and became friends with Ashlee Simpson, and started touring with her band in 2004. After a year of touring with Ashlee, Lucy decided it was time to launch her own solo career and has written or co-written over 70 songs. She landed a deal with Island Records, who will release her first album, Lost in The Lights.
Lucy cites Sarah McLachlan, Tori Amos, Enya and Cyndi Lauper as musical influences. Of her own music, she says, “Blending organic with synthetic sounds has always appealed to me, and when I began recording these songs, that’s the approach I naturally took.” She brings rich harmonies and thoughtful lyrics to her songs, and hopes that her music will inspire people to reach their dreams.
Lucy was interested in joining the cast of Rock the Cradle because “of the mass exposure available with a television spot.”

Lucy,
The only album I have bought that I loved every single song on was Joe Walsh’s greatest hits-I love your dad!
You look and sound great. I wish you all the luck in the world.
